Mahiki Racing officially announce Tom Wood to their 2026 line-up. The 24 year old racer joins the team with extensive experience and enthusiasm, partnered with Steven Lake for round 4 at Spa-Francorchamps, racing the McLaren 720s GT3.

Here’s what Tom had to say:

I’m excited to get back on the British GT grid after winning the Silver/Am championship last year!

Steve and I go back to my karting days where I won the National LGM Cadet championship for his team at the time in 2014 so it’s a real full circle moment to share the McLaren 720s GT3 with him this weekend. Looking forward to getting stuck in around one of the best tracks in the world and I’m forever grateful for these opportunities

Steven Lake, both driver and owner of Mahiki Racing, shared his thoughts on the Spa-Francorchamps round, as well as his long-established relationship with new partner Tom Wood.

We’re delighted to race with Tom in the upcoming round of British GT. Tom already has multiple British championship titles after progressing through the Ginetta Jr Championship as a regular winner. He has raced within the European GT4 Championship as well as the ADAC GT4, and had eight race victories in the Radical UK Championship. Tom also went on to win the 2025 British GT Silver/AM Championship title.
