First off, a huge thank you to Ginetta Cars for their incredible support in getting us to Spa with our new Ginetta G56 GT4s.

New cars, new team, big challenges – and a big result!

Weekend Recap

We implemented a slight change in our driver lineup; in car 84, marvellous duo Jack Mitchell + Josh Miller clasped yet another pole for Mahiki; and if that wasn’t enough they set a record-breaking pace, beating the previous lap record by over one second!

Car 69, now driven by Blake Angliss and Steven Lake, came in HOT at 3rd fastest in class, and car 88, sticking with Joe Wheeler and Ian Duggan, unfortunately faced some challenges at the challenging track, but finished the race, giving us three finishing cars – a great improvement!

Leading for the majority of the 3-hour Spa race, we ultimately finished with a strong GT4 podium and yet another Pole in our pockets.

An Important Note

We do want to publicly apologise to Josh and Jack. A driver stint miscalculation by our engineers cost the team a likely win. Whilst it was a tough lesson – we’ve already put new checks in place to ensure it doesn’t happen again, and the hard work that these guys put in will be recognised at Snetterton next month.

Looking Ahead

This was our first weekend with the new cars, and the pace was clear. To have achieved what we did sitting in the cars for the first time on the Friday of the race weekend, we’ll be back stronger, smarter, and hungrier.

Next stop: redemption.
