Mahiki Racing will debut with the iconic UK car brand in Europe’s leading GT4 championship for the 2024 season.
Mahiki Racing, the UK race team sponsored by luxury lifestyle and nightclub brand, Mahiki, and co-founded by Aim Technologies CEO, Steven Lake, will be debuting in the 2024 SRO European GT series this season with the Lotus Emira GT4, alongside some of the biggest names in motorsport.
Launched in summer 2023, Mahiki Racing’s founders will bring decades of motorsport experience to the team as it debuts the Lotus Emira GT4 in European GT racing and re-introduces Lotus, the iconic brand with an extraordinary racing legacy, to the grid with a two-car entry for 2024.
The SRO European GT4 series attracts race teams on an international scale, and Makhiki Racing will be joining premium racing brands including Mercedes AMG, Aston Martin AMR, McLaren, Audi Sport and Porsche to name a few. Attracting crowds across Europe, the series will run over six race events in 2024 at legendary track locations including, Paul Ricard, Hockenheim, Spa-Francorchamps, in addition a guest round being held in Jeddah, KSA, for the first time this November.
Mahiki Racing will be showcasing the Lotus Emira GT4 at the Autosport Show at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, this week before it heads to round one of the series at Le Castellet, 5th – 7th April 2024.
Mahiki Racing’s unique offering can be attributed to Aim Technologies motorsport expertise, along with the sophisticated and luxury appeal of its sponsor, Mahiki. In addition to this, Mahiki Racing have a strong relationship with Lotus Group, established over the past decade, as Aim Technologies have been a trusted supplier to the Lotus small car series.
