Donington Park, September 8th, 2024 – We faced a challenging weekend at the penultimate round of the British GT Championship. Despite showing promising pace throughout the weekend and securing the fastest in Pre-Qualifying, the team encountered a series of setbacks that prevented us from achieving our full potential.

The weekend began with a strong qualifying performance, placing both Mahiki Racing cars in the top ten. The team was very optimistic about our chances in the race, but unfortunately, fate had other plans.

During the early stages of the race, one of the Emiras was involved in an incident that resulted in damage, meaning Car 20 had to retire. The team worked tirelessly to repair the car and get it back on track, but the setback proved to be too much to overcome.

Despite the challenges, Car 69 managed to secure a solid finish, showcasing the team’s resilience and determination. The crew’s unwavering commitment to the sport was evident throughout the weekend, even in the face of adversity.

While the Donington Park round may not have gone as planned, we remain focused on the final round of the championship. With the season coming to a close, we are determined to finish strong and leave a lasting impression on the British GT scene.
